The best buttercream. It's top notch. The cakes are so fresh, sandwiches are delicious, love the crumb cake. Recently had their Irish soda bread and that was great too. Best bakery in the area by far.

I have ordered a few customized cakes for parties in the last few years, and Giancarlo's has done a fantastic job!! Most recently for my daughter's baby shower last Sunday the theme was "Baby it's Cold Outside". I gave them a copy of invitation and a picture of a cake I saw on Pinterest, well they went above and beyond and produced a cake that was the most beautiful cake perfectly in line with her theme!! Way more beautiful than the picture I gave them, and anything I imagined!! Fabulous!! Everyone admired and complimented us and asked where we got it!!! Not only was it beautiful to look at, it was delicious!!! The icing was so light and fresh and perfect sweetness not too too sweet!! Chocolate Mousse filling was excellent, light and creamy chocolate! I highly recommend Giancarlo's!! Also everything in the bakery is top notch, pastries, crumb cake, donuts and their deli sandwiches!! In addition, their staff is the best, everyone is so nice and helpful all the time! It's a pleasure going there! You will not be disappointed! Pictures from last Sunday and another birthday cake they did last year! The pictures don't even do them justice, so much better in person but gives you an idea!

We ordered my daughter's second birthday cake from Giancarlo's after several recommendations from people around town. I see why that they are recommended! Not only was the cake beautiful and taken inspiration from the photos that I sent, but it tasted absolutely wonderful. It was not overly sweet very very flavorful and the pudding and strawberries were a really nice touch. Everyone was asking me where I got her cake from! I will be ordering my cakes from Giancarlo's moving forward!
